Diethylhydroxylamine (DEHA) is an organic compound with the formula C4H11NO and molecular weight of 89.14, widely recognized for its chemical stability but easily flammable under certain hygroscopic conditions and incompatible with strong oxidants and acids. It has a density of 0.902 g/mL at 25degC; melting point between -26degC to -25degC; boiling point from 125degC to 130degC; flashpoint of 115degF; easily soluble in water as well as in other organic solvents like ethanol, ether chloroform or benzene etc.

Diethylhydroxylamine can be produced in two ways. One method involves reacting ethylene amine with ethyl ammonium chloride; while the second involves reacting diethylamine with alcohols under catalytic action of oxidants.
